    為何世間良緣每多波折﹖
    總教美夢成泡影，晴天偏偏缺。
    蒼天愛捉弄人，情緣常破滅。
    無奈困於繭中掙不脫，
    想化蝴蝶，衝開萬千結。

    情緣強中斷時，痛苦不消說。
    可歌往事留在腦海，夢中空泣血。
    即使未許白頭，柔情難以絕。
    情義似水滔滔斬不斷，
    翻作恨史，千秋待清雪。

    Hmm let's see if I can ATTEMPT to translate it... feel free to give input and correction!

    Why is it that in the journey of finding the one you should marry, there are so many obstacles?
    It teaches you that fantasies are but false images, which don't happen to exist under this clear sky.
    The ever expanding heavens love to tease humans, because fate (in regards to love) always leaves you broken and shattered.
    Trapped in the center of a cocoon, unable to break free.
    I wish (I / we) could become butterflies and fly away from these problems.

    As the love gets stronger and the time suddenly gets cut short, the pain doesn't disappear.
    What song will remain to remind one of the past, hollows dreams crying blood tears.
    Even if one was able to live till an older age, this gentle affection will still be there.
    Love and affection is like water, a flood that cannot be cut.
    To write a historical piece of such (hatred / regret), will cause a thousand year delay of pure snow.
