  • Firstly: Happy B-day to my cousin Julie
We had a nice chat just earlier before.

and nowww.. I'm home! I'm happy, and back from finals
This week was a week of advancement and moving on. Putting old burdens down and carrying new ones that make more sense. How nice
I no longer have my car too .. so sad, but unemployed me just can't take care of it

I love my family, time and time again proves to me that no matter what we think of each other, no matter what difficulties are faced, at the end of the day, everyone really wants the best for one another. That makes me more than happy, it makes me proud to be a Lai. (yea even though not all their last names are Lai's, you get it).

These past two days, my phone hasn't stopped ringing, all my friends are calling. My heart feels like the wood in the fire by the chimney, I'm just so very happy to be home. It doesn't feel like Christmas at all, but I have more than Christmas in my hands. And I'd really like to thank someone for the past few days.. or past few years of kindness and unrequited patience there's nothing I can say about it anymore. I am amazed, thankful, and sorry.

  • Yea im not done with finals, and still got a paper due, (for Philosophy).

Concerning your comment tho, yea when it comes to string theory, thankfully we have a branch called Theoretical Physics, hence its theory like nature; it serves its purpose. But the distinction between "science" and "philosophy" isn't really a fair comparison since science is philosophy, it used to be called "naturalism". I just took a course in science, philosophy and culture and it was suuuper interesting, Well for me, cause yes, i'm a nerd. Always have been, always will be. As for math, I haven't touched math since high school so that stuff is fuzzy as hell.

But Physics i fuckin love. And concerning gravitons, that's the issue that splits quantum mechanics and General relativity in the first place: their theories on gravity. But yea String Theory has a long complicated history that moved up in dimensions since the 80's, they've edited it so much. It's definitely an issue at hand tho whether its science or not. In case you have another project or if you care for the subject at all, look up Karl Popper. He makes up a theory about what is science and what isn't called falsification or falsifiability . Here it is in a nutshell. It's not science unless it is possible to prove it false through observable data. Apply this to Psych, the social sciences, string theory and it all fails this test miserably.

Ok, i went overboard. I just like avoiding studying for my astro final in 2 hours. ok BYE!
